We’ve got great news!

We’re thrilled to announce that Catalyst Group has been acquired by Cooper! As of September 2015, and with tremendous excitement, our team will commence operation as Cooper’s New York office.

When Catalyst Group first opened its doors, way back in 1998, the idea of a consulting firm that focused on usability and interaction design was pretty novel. Today, the critical importance of human-focused design is well understood by organizations around the world. For over sixteen years, Catalyst Group has helped clients to design products and services that are aligned with the needs and behaviors of their audiences. So we couldn’t be more proud to be joining forces with a recognized pioneer in the field; a company that, like us, is dedicated to improving people’s lives with great design.

Alan and Sue Cooper have built a firm at the forefront of design thinking and methodologies. In addition to their award-winning project work, Alan, and many other current and former “Cooperistas,” have authored books that are required reading for aspiring designers and strategists. They also share their wisdom with the world in the form of training and education initiatives at Cooper U. We are looking forward to bringing their perspectives and expertise to our clients and to the New York market!

We are grateful to our colleagues at Catalyst Group and to all the amazing clients we’ve worked with over the years. Under the Cooper banner, our team will stay intact and we’ll continue to work from our current office on Wall Street. It’s been a fantastic journey so far and we can’t wait to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.
